Beagles are small hound dogs with a lot of energy and personality. They love their families, love being with them, and love to play. If a Beagle Mix takes after their Beagle parent, you can expect a dog with similar traits.

Temperament

A Beagle is like a playful child. Their joyous, playful, and energetic personality often means they can retain a puppy-like demeanor throughout their lives. They get along well with children and other dogs. They do have a high prey drive, so they may need some extra socialization with smaller pets in the household. You can also meet the mother dog in person to see what sort of temperament your Beagle Mix puppy is starting out with.
